Q:

How do I know you are the right therapist?

Do you offer Zoom or telehealth sessions?

Many children who experience trauma or neglect internalize this impact. They often do not have the language to communicate what they are feeling or why they do the things they do. This creates a complication in relying on traditional talk therapy

A:

The only way you’ll find out whether I am the right therapist for you is by contacting me.

A:

As a therapist who specializes in play therapy, Skype and phone sessions are not ideal options. Again, play therapy is not like talk therapy. Play therapy requires just that – play and movement. It is in the action of play that the real work takes place. Skype and phone sessions would hinder the natural state of play and put distance between you and I, preventing the facilitation of treatment. For those reasons, I do not offer Skype or phone sessions. However, an initial consultation can be achieved through Skype or phone sessions.

Q:

What should I expect?

Q:

How long is the treatment?

A:

Every client receives a tailored treatment plan to fit his or her needs.

Therapy is not forever! Therapy is temporary and should be considered an investment in your future so that you can make healthier life decisions and create healthier relationships.

A:

Length of stay is determined by client’s response to treatment. Treatment takes as long as necessary for the client to learn the lessons they need to resolve their presenting problem.
